Peter E. Shapiro

Peter E. Shapiro is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office, and a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy Group.  He is sensitive to the tough choices businesses face, and counsels them through all types of cases.  He has extensive experience in bankruptcy law and creditors’ rights, commercial financings, loan workouts and restructurings, litigation and corporate transactions. He represents lenders, corporations, official committee’s, trustees, investors, landlords and other parties in interest in all aspects of insolvency proceedings

Professional Activities and Achievements

Mr. Shapiro is a former CPA. He is a member of the Florida Bar, New York Bar, Connecticut Bar and District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association and Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Shapiro regularly speaks at industry seminars, including the Sterling Education Series.
