E. Tyler Samsing
Associate
Mr. Samsing is an associate in the Tampa office of Arnstein & Lehr. His practice is focused on creditors rights, bankruptcy, real estate and related commercial litigation. Mr. Samsing has significant experience representing lenders, landlords and other corporate clients in pursuing claims against debtors and often aids clients in structuring, preparing and negotiating loan agreements, debt instruments and modifications/workouts. He also represents owners of real property and mortgagees against adverse claims, defending the owner’s title and the validity and priority of the mortgagee’s liens.
During law school, Mr. Samsing worked directly with chief legal counsel for the Tampa Bay Lightning to provide counsel on legal and corporate policy issues as well as business strategic planning. He analyzed a variety of legal issues including complex vendor, client and employment contracts and helped guard against legal risks facing the organization.
Professional Activities and Achievements
Mr. Samsing is a member of the Real Property Probate & Trust Law and Trial Lawyers Sections of The Florida Bar as well as the Young Lawyers Division. He is also active in the community, frequently volunteering and performing pro bono services. Mr. Samsing volunteers with the Teen Court program where he serves as a judge and provides assistance and mentoring to juveniles. He also recently participated in the Florida Attorneys Saving Homes program which assisted homeowners in their fight against the foreclosure crisis.
