David A. Golin

David A. Golin is a partner in Arnstein & Lehr’s Chicago office. His practice focuses primarily on commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters, representing both debtors and creditors. He has extensive experience representing financially distressed businesses, from family owned to multi-national, in loan restructurings, workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. He has substantial experience representing secured lenders, landlords, equipment lessors, and other creditors in defending and pursuing their claims against debtors. He also has considerable experience representing purchasers of assets out of a bankruptcy estate or from an assignee. Mr. Golin also represents owners of real property and mortgage lenders against adverse claims, defending the owner’s title and the validity and priority of the mortgagee’s liens.

Mr. Golin is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Committee and the Turnaround Management Association. He is recognized by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company as a Leading Lawyer in Illinois in the field of commercial bankruptcy and workout law, a distinction earned by less than 5% of all lawyers in Illinois.
