Carolyn Bugh Anderson

Partner

Ms. Anderson is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. Her practice focuses on litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense.

Professional Activities and Achievements

A member of The Florida Bar since 1994, Ms. Anderson is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists. She is also a member of the Litigation and the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Sections of the American Bar Association, with membership on the International, Products Liability, and Media Privacy and Defamation Committees.

Before obtaining her law degree, she worked as a reporter for a business newspaper in Puerto Rico, covering the health care, insurance and legal industries. At the University of Miami School of Law, she was named a Dean’s Honor Scholar and the Florence T. Robbins Scholar, for which she received a full-tuition merit scholarship. She also served as an articles and comments editor for the Business Law Journal, and worked as a certified legal intern for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.
