More employer related pending federal legislation added to E. Jason Tremblay’s summary
Chicago Partner E. Jason Tremblay recently added five more pieces of pending federal legislation to his article, “Pending Federal Employment Legislation Update: Employers Beware.” This article provides a brief description of the pending legislation, as well as the significant changes called for under each piece of legislation.
The new additions include:
Healthy Families Act (S. 1152, H.R. 2460)
Working for Adequate Gains for Employment in Services Act (H.R. 2570)
The Paid Vacation Act of 2009 (H.R. 2564)
The Family and Medical Leave Enhancement Act (H.R. 824)
Employee Non-Discrimination Act of 2009 (H.R. 3017)
