Arnstein & Lehr welcomes Howard Berrington to growing Chicago office
CHICAGO, Illinois – June 19, 2009 – The Chicago law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP announced today that Howard M. Berrington has joined the firm as a partner in the Business Organizations & Transactions, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Banks & Financial Institutions practice groups in the Chicago office. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr, Mr. Berrington was a partner in the Corporate Practice Group at Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC.
Mr. Berrington focuses his practice on business and corporate law. He counsels clients on all types of transactional and contractual matters, mergers and acquisitions, financial and corporate restructuring, ownership and management succession planning, and resolving partnership and various other types of disputes. Mr. Berrington also represents banks and financial institutions in documenting their credit agreements, financial workouts, bankruptcy and litigation.
He was named a Leading Lawyer from 2004 to 2009 by the Leading Lawyers Network and an Illinois Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Mr. Berrington received a B.A., with honors, from the University of Illinois in 1975 and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1978.
